Hope Shantel Simmons, born and raised February 23, 1985 in Lake Charles, La, inspired by the modeling industry since childhood is the industry's best kept secret as an actress and print model. Participating in pageants, tap, jazz, ballet, gymnastics, and cheerleading as a child are just a few of the activities that launched her love for fashion and entertainment. At age 26, she attended her first casting and was offered a position with Quad Clothing Company as a print model. As the beginning of a great career, it allotted the opportunity to network with other industry professionals and allowed her visibility to others in the industry of entertainment which within a few months of her first gig with Quad Clothing Company, she then landed a position with "The Look" Fashion Events in Houston, TX as a commercial runway model. This was an awesome experience which gave the opportunity to showcase to an atmosphere other than high fashion. Although Hope Simmons is very talented in the field of fashion, her resume ceases not at fashion but goes on to include acting for television and stage plays. Being casted by Lance Gardner of Lance Gardner Productions in two gospel stage plays “A Chair and the Bible” and “Banks of the Streets” which was inspired by John Brown's "Mentally Blind" has given Hope an edge on competitors in both industries. Being able to multi task and use her skills for both industries puts Hope Simmons in the forefront and makes her more than qualified. She is more than equipped to showcase her talents across the board and is always prepared for new and exciting challenges. Hope’s resume is steadily growing to include more plays, movies, and television (Such as “Chuck’s City” a Charles Lockett Media and Lance Gardner production sitcom airing in the summer of 2012) and a host of other fashion related events.
